Members:
20
members: 4 from each area of Presbytery, plus 4 additional members,
two from the north or west area, the other two from the south or east
area. The committee is to elect co-moderators from among commission
members, one from the north or west area, the other from the south
or east area. In accordance with the Book of Order G-9.0501b,
at least one half of the members shall be ruling elders.
Responsibilities:
In
consultation with the Presbytery Council
, this commission will seek to support the Presbytery's
vision by:

Working to fulfill responsibilities listed in the Book of Order G-2.05, G-2.08, G-2.09, G-2.10 and G-3.03

In most cases, acting on behalf of Presbytery in approving calls,
and other appropriate responsibilities as permitted in the Book
of Order
Note:
The four COM Members from each area are to serve as interview group
for new calls. Co-moderators are to be from different geographic
areas.
Note:
This Commission is expected to use Task Groups to fulfill the
responsibilities listed. The task groups (which may include
non-members of COM) will exercise support and oversight of churches
as assigned by "area" COM.
